Personal Training Agreement

Terms & Conditions

Client Declaration

1. I agree to give 100% commitment to everything I do with Katie Baron (the trainer) from this point forward.

2. Packages: 

i) Singular sessions and multi-session training packages are booked on a pre-pay basis.

ii) All monthly packages have a 2 month minimum comittment.

iii) Bookings will not be confirmed until payment has been received by the trainer.

iv) I understand that failure to make payment will result in my sessions being forfeit.

 

3. Postponements and cancellations: 

i) Sessions may be postponed twice within two weeks of the intended session date before they are forfeit.

ii) Postponement notification must be a minimum of 24 hours prior to the intended session time to reschedule your session. Any requests made inside of the 24h time frame, will be deemed as a cancellation, and therefore your session will be forfeited without refund. 

iii) In the unlikely event of a client cancellation, monies paid will be forfeit.

iv) Exceptions - Holiday postponements of training sessions are discussed at Katie's discretion. 

 

4. Session lengths:

 i) I understand all sessions will last 1 hour, unless otherwise stated, and will start and finish on time.

ii) I will arrive with enough time to be fully prepared and ready to begin training at the agreed time.

iii) I accept that my trainer may not be able to provide the full duration of the session if I am late.

iv) If I am late, the resulting time difference will not be reallocated or added to another session.

 

5. Results & progress:

i) I accept that the results of any training programme or coaching course are not guaranteed.

ii) My progress depends on my effort and co-operation in and outside of the sessions. 

 

6. Possible injury acknowledgement:

i) I understand that there are inherent risks in participating in a programme of strenuous exercise.

ii) I agree that Katie my trainer is not responsible for any injury sustained whilst participating in a session or programme, except where the injury was caused by the gross negligence or intentional act of my trainer. 

 

7. PARQ re-confirmation: 

i) I certify that my answers to the questions outlined in the PHYSICAL ACTIVITY READINESS QUESTIONNAIRE (PARQ) are true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to inform my Trainer of the conditions or changes in my health, now and on-going, which might affect my ability to exercise safely and with minimal risk of injury. 

 

8. I understand that Katie is a self-employed, independent, freelance trainer. I acknowledge that I am entering into a contract solely with Katie.

 

9. This agreement applies to any and all sessions booked with the trainer. The amount of sessions, pricing and frequency of sessions / specific scheduling of sessions will be communicated in writing following the acceptance of these terms and conditions of booking.
